Ordinary ready-made retail resale and dropshipping are not allowed on Etsy. SEO, translation, custom packaging, photography, or production-partner disclosure do not make an ineligible product eligible.
Eligible craft supplies are tools or materials primarily used to create a new item by hand; ready-to-use blank clothing and tumblers do not qualify just because they could be decorated. Etsy also permits qualifying party supplies. These limited supply exceptions are different from production assistance.
POD and other production assistance can qualify for your original designs or items made with a buyer’s unique text or image. A stock colour or size choice is not buyer personalization. Current title advice
Write a clear, easy-to-scan title naming the item and its most important objective traits, such as material, colour, and size. Etsy suggests considering fewer than 15 words; this is guidance, not a new hard limit. The 140-character limit is a maximum, not a target.
Put important details first for buyer clarity, not a promised ranking boost. Avoid repeated keywords, subjective claims, and long gift-recipient lists. Include holidays or occasions only when essential to the item. Use relevant tags, attributes, and descriptions for other search phrases.

Is Dropshipping Allowed on Etsy?
Etsy prohibits ordinary ready-made retail dropshipping and resale. Qualifying craft and party supplies are limited dropshipping exceptions. Production partners can produce your original design or items with a buyer's unique text or image; disclosure alone cannot make an arbitrary catalogue product eligible. Vintage resale is not a general dropshipping exception.
Evaluate suppliers, not platform endorsements
AliExpress, Alibaba, CJDropshipping, and Spocket do not make ordinary retail resale eligible. Evaluate qualifying supplies or a genuine production arrangement. Printify, Printful, and Gelato can assist with eligible original designs or buyer personalization, but their platform names and integrations do not certify compliance. Packaging and branding are not creative eligibility.
